Mines Moves Up One Spot In Polls
Colorado School of Mines advanced one spot in each of the major national polls this moving, improving to #4 in the AFCA and #5 in the D2football.com top 25s.

After a weekend of chaos in the Top 25 of Division II, Mines (2-0) stayed in the top five as they beat out Washburn on the road, 31-28. Two of the top three teams in last week's polls - #2 Central Missouri and #3 Pitt State - lost in Week 2.
It marks the 65th consecutive AFCA and 66th straight D2football.com poll Mines has appeared in dating back to 2018; the Orediggers have been in the top 10 for 25 consecutive editions. In the AFCA poll, Western Colorado stayed at #22 and CSU Pueblo remained #22; WCU was #14 in the D2football.com poll, as well.
Mines starts RMAC play Saturday with a date at Chadron State.
