- Oct 13:30 PMThe Next Level: Grad Student Support GroupThe Next Level is a place for graduate students to support each other through the experience of being a Mines graduate student. Graduate students face unique challenges such as advanced academics, complicated relationships with faculty, research pressures and building a life beyond grad school. Navigating this “next level” can be extremely stressful and exhausting. Graduate students are welcome to drop-in whenever they want to connect with peers regarding their hopes, successes, worries, and frustrations, in a safe place where others can relate and understand. In addition, we brainstorm solutions to the issues that many graduate students experience. The group is facilitated by professionals from the Counseling Center who always strive to maintain a welcoming and safe environment.
