- Oct 33:00 PMMen at MinesMen at Mines is a weekly drop-in support group for male-identifying students to support each other through their shared experience at Mines. Students can face multiple challenges such as anxiety, building relationships, stress management, imposter syndrome, finding balance, etc. Students are welcome to drop-in whenever they want to connect with peers, celebrate successes and give and receive support around issues that many students struggle with. The group is facilitated by professionals from the Counseling Center who always strive to maintain a welcoming, safe, and caring environment.
- Oct 34:00 PMMINES for Recovery and AwarenessWe recognize the unique journeys individuals take in exploring their relationship with alcohol and drugs. Mines for Recovery and Awareness seeks to provide an inclusive and compassionate space for all students, whether you’re sober-curious, sober by choice, in recovery, or simply seeking to better understand and support those around you. For the spring semester, meetings take place every Thursday from 4-5pm in the Wellness Center 2nd Floor Conference Room. (Straight across from the stairs/elevator on the 2nd floor.) Can’t make a meeting? Schedule a Peer Listening session with MFRA Group Lead, Amanda Camarata, on the Peer Listening webpage.
